All regular dances, both contra and English, are currently held at Dauntless Dance & Movement, 3221 Houston Ave, 77009.
To protect the Dauntless wood floor and to keep the space clean:
Do not wear street shoes for dancing. Bring clean, low-heel shoes that will not scuff or damage the floor, or dance in stocking feet.
You may bring water in closed containers—there's no water fountain. No other beverages are allowed.
You may bring snacks but they must be consumed outside.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus Roemer Hall—there are two halls on the property—is the site of Bayou Bedlam, Set for Spring, and some other special events. This old dance hall, which has a sprung wood floor, is the wood building next to the entrance driveway and the picnic tables.
The Knights of Columbus is just north of the I-610 North Loop and west of I-45 at 607 E. Whitney, 77022.
Resurrection MCC
The fellowship hall of Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church is the site of the 2024 Holiday Ball. The church is located at 2025 W. 11th Street at T.C. Jester, 77008, just north of Interstate 10.
