Houston Area Traditional Dance Society
Contra dances are held at First Lutheran Church in the Parish Hall. First Lutheran is at 1311 Holman Street.
Park in the lot at the corner of Austin Street, on the street (it's free at the times we hold our dances), or in the lot on Francis at Caroline Streets. That lot doesn't belong to First Lutheran but we may use it.
Follow the walkway from the Austin Street parking lot around the playground to the first door under the arches. The room we use is to the right.
The February English country dances will be at Amaya Dance Studio, 1987 W TC Jester at W. 18th next door to Subway.
The North Side Columbus Club Roemer Hall—there are two halls on the property—is the site of Bayou Bedlam and some other special events. This old dance hall, which has a sprung wood floor, is the wood building next to the entrance driveway and the picnic tables.
The North Side Columbus Club is just north of the I-610 North Loop and west of I-45 at 607 E. Whitney, 77022.
