- Some will, others may not.
- Will there be contra or other forms of dancing?
- No, only English.
- May I register at the door?
- No. All registrations must be done in advance and online. No walk-ins are allowed or can be accommodated.
- Where is the dance hall?

- Do you offer home hospitality?
- All available spots are taken. See the lodging page for help finding a hotel.
- Are there hotels that you recommend or have negotiated a group rate with?

- Is there a place I can park my RV?

- If I register and then can't come, can I get a refund?

- May I attend if I've never done English country dance?
- Please do not! Set for Spring 2026 is not intended for first time English dancers. Attendees should know core ECD figures, understand the music, respond easily to teaching and minimal prompting, and be familiar with commonly done dances.
For the enjoyment of everyone in attendance—including those who are traveling far and spending hundreds of dollars on transportation, hotels, and food in order to enjoy a weekend with experienced dancers—we ask that you dance regularly with your local ECD group before coming to Set for Spring.
- Should I dress up for the Saturday evening Ball?
- Yes, please do! Fancy or formal dress is encouraged to add to the festive atmosphere and celebration of Joseph's dances. Also, Don Bell will be here video taping. You want to look your best!
It's fine if you don't have a fancy outfit, but please dress up rather than down for this special dance. Please no shorts, jeans, or t-shirts on Saturday evening. Thank you!
- Is alcohol allowed at the hall?
- No!
- What about smoking?
- There is no smoking in the building or on the school grounds.
