Join us in Houston for a special Set for Spring celebrating the English country dances of Joseph Pimentel.
In addition to being a dancer, choreographer, and dance leader, Joseph was the driving force behind the creation of the first Set for Spring weekend in 2009. Visit the About page for details.
Although featuring Joseph's English dances, the weekend will not be limited to them.

Set for Spring will be held in the performance gym of Cypress Ridge High School, 7900 N. Eldridge Pkwy, Houston TX 77041. See our location page for all of the details.
Joseph will not be calling; he is looking forward to dancing and visiting with old and new friends. Instead, Joanna Reiner Wilkinson, Brad Foster, Bruce Hamilton, David Millstone, and Gaye Fifer will lead the dancing.
Goldcrest—Daron Douglas, Paul Oorts, Dave Wiesler—is reuniting just for this event. In addition, violinist Ben Schreiber will join Paul and Dave as the band Firecrest.
Jamie Platt will be coming in from the DC area to run sound, and Don Bell will come in from New York to video.
Limited Attendance
Attendance is limited to ensure enough space for comfortable dancing. No walk-ins are allowed.
Experience Required
For your own enjoyment and for that of fellow dancers, we appreciate your understanding that Set for Spring is not for new or uncertain dancers. Attendees should know core ECD figures, understand the music, respond easily to teaching and minimal prompting, and be familiar with commonly done dances.
